Efficient Combination of Protection and Comfort Modastatic is a range of fabrics developed by Tecron to meet the needs of industrial personal protective clothing. They are blend of modacrylic and other fibers like cotton, polyamide or aramid. Unlike treated flame resistant cotton fabrics, Modastatic does not use flame resistant chemical to make the fabric flame resistant, which often creates health hazards such as formaldehyde, abnormal PH value or azo or abnormal PH value. All its flame resistance property is inherent and stays as long as the fabric service life. Unlike Nomex or aramid fabrics, Modastatic contains a considerable part of natural cotton to give it much better moisture wicking ability and thus comfort.
